Milldam is a cooperative preschool located in downtown Concord, Massachusetts. Milldam offers a play-based program that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each child. Families and staff work together with the goal of providing the best possible holistic preschool experience for all students.

Job Qualifications:

  • Department of Early Education and Care Lead Teacher qualification.

  • Infant/Toddler Certification.

  • Work experience in early childhood education setting(s).

  • Strong collaboration skills: excellent communication, flexibility/adaptability, enjoys working closely with others.

  • Demonstrates warmth and nurturing for our youngest students.

Job Requirements:

  • Must complete CORI, SORI, and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the EEC prior to employment.

  • Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment.

  • Evidence of immunization against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.

  • Maintenance of current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote an environment that nurtures the physical, social, emotional, and educational development of children.

  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement age appropriate play-based curriculum.

  • Work closely with families, in and out of the classroom, to support an optimal learning experience for each child.

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 8:15 am-12:15 pm.

  • Opportunity to work additional hours during extended day programming.

Compensation:

  • $30,000-$48,000 salary, based on experience.

  • Opportunity to earn hourly wage of $26.52 during extended day programming in addition to salary.
